I've been studying design for a year now (after I dropped out of architecture, because I'm a bum), so sometimes I get these random requests from people, especially from church. haha Since there aren't really people who are willing to help, I end up doing them. There are people who are fully capable of doing stuff like this, but;;
It's fun, though. It's nice to be able to try to apply what I've been learning and as my senior told me, "There's no one with this kind of knowledge around, so you can do whatever you want." hahaha! It's funny because it's true. So true.
(Sometimes, though, I go overboard and end up screwing stuff up...)
Aanyway. I don't really know where to put this stuff, so I'll put it here. I'm sorry if you're not interested! XD But I really don't want to upload it over at tumblr, nor on dA. I'm sorry for using this place as dump! XD
I just finished this one, really. Truthfully speaking, I'm just posting it here because I'm waiting for the file to upload. LOL It's so slow!

This one was reaaally random hahaha I did it quickly in a day. For some reason, whenever I do this kind of stuff I forget about printing. So I got a random tiny image from Google and applied it. It's horribly small, so I'm sure printing it would be scary! XD
I have been learning to do a lot of different stuff. I didn't use to do these kinds of banners! (Should I call them banners? I'm not really sure what they are...) I've learned the basics of Illustrator and have become more able to manipulate pictures and whatnot on Photoshop. I'm really grateful for this year! ^q^
I'm still not sure what my future will be like. But taking a step at a time is really what's making me move forward!
And come to think of it, I did a lot of stuff this year, although I'm pretty sure all of it was done during the second semester...
This was a t-shirt done for our "Olympics". It's an sports events for the Chinese community! It's always fun, and I really want to participate for real on next opporunities! This year, I ran 100m. I was lucky I was practicing (for weight issues)! XD So I didn't do that bad. It was important for me to do nicely because it was a relay race!
This is a certificate for those people who helped us on a fair we had. It was supposed to be a fair where all Chinese people who don't have health insurance could go to specialty medics for free >v< It was chaotic and stressful for specific people, but for me, it was just tiring because I didn't do anything the whole day. I made some friends, though c: I always make older friends in these kind of events. XD

And this was the layout for our name tags. I like it and it's simple, but in reality I didn't come up with this at all. All the elements were made by my senior, and I forcefully got them from the internet. HAHA Well, the composition is mine, so...
